About Us

Homeschool Parent & Retired Army Intelligence Officer
I’m Andrew Florenz, and I just retired after serving more than 22 years in the U.S. Army. I was a Military Intelligence Officer, served overseas during combat operations in Kuwait and Iraq, and worked at diplomatic missions in Central Asia and the Middle East. I also served at Army posts up and down the east coast of the United States.
I’m also a homeschool dad. When my oldest daughter started learning online, we taught her how to log on to the computer and into her school website. But there was no instruction available from the school (or anywhere else) that taught her about how to act, or what to do or not do, online. She was Everyday Military Intel, LLC’s first student!

Virtual Courses Instilling Confidence With Technology
Our mission is to enable your confidence when using any of your personal electronic devices.
We achieve this goal by offering accessible and effective online education based on everyday lessons learned in U.S. Army Military Intelligence.
We enable lifelong digital learners, no matter what age, to navigate cyberspace with confidence and kindness, protect their personal information and privacy, and establish healthy technology habits.
Who Lacks Confidence With Technology?
We all know people of all different ages who would benefit from a little help with technology!
We train homeschool students so they’re ready to learn online.
We train middle-age men and women who are / have been focused on other things in their lives.
We train seniors who didn’t grow up with computers, but are now expected to navigate that domain safely and effectively.
Ultimately – we believe every one of us should and can be confident using a computer (or phone).
We’re here to try to make that a reality!

Digital Privacy, Online Safety, & Cyber Awareness
For our first class Everyday Digital Hero: Securing Your Online World, we’ve created a series of ten short video tutorials that will teach homeschool students to identify and control their personal information online and navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
Enrolled students will learn about digital privacy, online safety, and cyber awareness, and they will develop the necessary skills to protect themselves and maintain their privacy in an increasingly digital age.
Digital Privacy is about the control students have over information that can identify them and how it is collected, stored, shared, and used in the online world.
Online Safety requires that students understand the good and bad about being online and make smart decisions about their online activities. In other words, we’ll teach learners to act defensively online in order to protect themselves from scammers and hackers.
To teach Cyber Awareness, we’ll focus on basic technical concepts students can use to be safer online, including how to protect online accounts.
